What would be the best flourescent tube you can buy for a softy tank?

T5's are the best these days, no use spending your money on the older types as in PC's or VHO's although VHO's were the previous best. Just make sure you get the T5 with Individual reflectors & your good for almost anything.

i like my vhos the best for the dusk to dawn effeft although i havent had my hand at t5s i dont wanna change from vho just cause i love the way they make it look like the sun is setting IN my tank when my halides go off

ohh and the best lighting in the market now is SOLARIS yeah its not tube lighting but boy is is lighting ya know

the price seems to be coming down on them to

i seen some none name brand solaris lights 48 in for like 1000 bucks or so!!!

LOL yeah I seen people on other forums wanting them so bad there trying there hands at a DIY solaris set up

Y not I mean u can DIY halide and when Blu ray disk first came out u wouldnt of thought that it could be burned but now office depot has blu ray burners

They have been out for a while too, I recommend led solaris (DIY only) for any and all tanks, and I haven't even seen one in person yet
