Little white spots...Coraline?

I added some of Garfs Grunge a couple of weeks ago, and now have a bunch of little white spots appearing all over the place. Is this possibly coraline algae? When looking at them thru a 5x magnifying glass, they look like a 1 mm egg in the bottom of a frying pan. If this is coraline, when does it color-up, if it's not coraline...should I worry?

K, thanks. Kind of what I was thinking. Anyone know what color it's going to be? (kidding) But seriously, any clues to how long it takes to color up? Been 2 days, and still looks like a fried egg. Not that I'm impatient, or anything.

It takes alittle while. You will see alot of the white specks then in a week or more you'll some have flatten out and strated to turn pink.

After a little over a month of waiting to see what color coraline the spots would become, I'm not too sure it's coraline. They stay white until the centers disappear, sometimes leaving the outside 'ring' only. I've seen my hermits go after the spots low enough for them to reach, and I think that some snails are cleaning-up the rest.

Anyway, I've been seeing these spots in both of my tanks, so am thinking that maybe it's the cause of the tiny snails I've been seeing in my 7 gal. frag tank.

Hmm...You got me! I have no idea what either one is. Someone will know I'm sure though...

You know I have the same things in my tank!! We figured the lil orange "bubbles" were eggs of something...as they started to "pop open" but we have yet to see what has come out..altho I did notice an "unknown" slug lookin thing munchin on my beautiful Xenias..which are now gone dead mush icky...Something seems to have happened to our tank..now wondering if this has to do with our rampent spots...I thought what we had/have was coralline but after reading this and closer inspection ours looks very much like the spots you have...kinda like coralline but spotty on alot of them...and some spots are broken in the middle with just a pinkish purple ring...ack FW was so much simpler lol...
