Not sure what youu mean:oops: Live rock needs waste to feed it (the bacteria) and proper balance of calcium, alk and magnesium for coraline on the rocks to grow. Is that what you mean?:)

i wouldn't start adding anything to your tank..it can really throw the balance out of whack...regular water changes will replenish any lost trace elements

OK on the bottle it says "coraline algae accelerator".

Do you already have some coraline algae in your tank? If not I would find someone to give you some scrapings.

Purpleup adds calcium, strontium, magnesium and iodine.

well do you already have some bacteria, say from a live sand bed that has been in this NSW? say for a week?

don't add anything...you don't have anything in your tank that will be needing that much calcium...regular water changes will replentish all of those elements...initially,it may take a little time for the coralline to start showing up,but it will grow quickly after that...you only need to start supplementing calcium when you have a bunch of corals that are calcium hogs!!

dilution is the solution to jusst abot everything. When I can figure out how I will add links.
