Live rock growths

I picked up a piece of live rock from an established tank and am curious about what is attached to it. Spread out on the are milky yellowish white bubles attached to the rock. They are about 1/2" to 3/4" in circumference.

I don't have a picture, but I was hoping that someone may know what it is.

Thanks you guys. I am pretty sure that is what I have. well, now I can tell my kids that we have about 20 sponge bob's on our rock
