"Veiwing angle" that the words I was looking for. I may try a web cam and see what happens. I'd rather waste $30 vs $300. I dont have a spare lap top but a elcheapo dell cost about as much as an ip camera. Put a usb hub in the fixture and three usb cams pointed down. I dont know but it sounds cool.

move the cammra closer,
? like hole inside tank shot?

If you move close you would see less of the tank. I was going to go get a MS vx6000 wide angle webcam this weekend and see what happens.
If it works the I'll put it in my light pointing through just a hole for the lense. I can fit three if need be and then run them to my web server with cat5. Sounds like a cool toy

YA.... thats what i was thinking im not expert on vid cams for pc's but.... i would look for a upclose shot from a corner, or side.......

I tried it from the water surface down but got too much reflection and agitation from the lights and movements also the flicker from the MH.

Side note there is another company that host free live streaming

http://www.stickam.com/

very similar services, as far as band width, I am running a cable modem with average speed test at: download 3550 kbps, upload of 510 kbps, with camera streaming my upload is ave. 444. Not a big drop, the dowload speed are not affected by the streaming.
