Looking for localNW "dog" bbs

So I'm in the market for a puppy and am looking for a bbs(forum) possibly with breeders in and around the northwest. Does anyone know of any? I'm specifically trying to find a "show quality" miniature bull terrier and have heard the waiting list is near a year, so I'd like to get on this right away. If anyone has any info at all, let me know, thx!

I hope you don't have to wait to much for a puppy ........ I WANT A PUPPY TOO !! but i won't take the chihuahua ..... me wants a Rottweiler .
Anyways, Have you tried googleing for breeders around the area?

The way I went about finding a breeder was to look on Yahoo at their groups. They usually have specific groups for breeds and you can get recommendations for breeders on there. I used this method to find a great breeder for our Chow. I'm sure they have the same for bull terriers.

Now, it hasn't been THAT long. I still run one with two incoming land lines and 4 telnet lines. Been going to take it all down though as it sure doesn't get any use any more. It's down more than it's up now too as I seldom even turn on THAT computer.

I called my first BBS when I was 13 so that was 20 years ago. I ran a BBS from 1987 - 1991 and then I took it down. I got on the internet in 1994 or so.... so that is why I say a decade at least. I'm sure some people run them still but I can't imagine why! not with internet.

A lot of asian software companies still use the moniker 'bbs', and if you're were looking for some $99 a year "run a forum on your website" you may do a better job of looking for 'bbs software'.

I still use bbs instead of "chat forums", cuz it's easier and "most" people know what it means

If anyone is willing to share the info with you, we found our dog on Micronews. She is a pure bred black lab. Not sure how many Microsofties are on this site but maybe someone is willing to look for you. There are many breeders that don't have a huge business from it and a lot of times these people post on Micronews. HTH

Look for the website of the breed as they generally have member breeders that have to meet certain criteria and such.

That's how I found the Papillions (from Benton City WA) and the Tibetan Spaniel (from Denver). Then there is Rusty from the Little Nickel, Arlington style...

Since you are interested in a Show Quality... have you tried going to the American Kennel Club webpage (www.akc.org) then doing a search on Washington State to see what information they may have for you?
