So my tank is good. I do think the corals colors and growth could be better. Thought i would post my information and see if anyone has any advise to help make things 'pop' and little better.

20 gallon nano 'mixed reef'

salinity 1.22 to 1.26
1,300 gph flow
280 total watts (MH and PC)
78 degrees constant
Ca 425
kh 8.5
mg 1300
Po 0

Nitrates last time a check where at 15 but I had a fish die and disappear, since then I have done a 10 gallon (30%) and 5 gallon (15%) water change

There are about 20-25 sps frags and around 4-7 lps frags in the tank, tank has only been up for about 5 months and most frags are only about 3 months old. Some are far from what they where in color when I got them.... blue sparkle is brown (only about 1cm of new growth is blue)

don't go with a "mixed reef" make a decision, go with a "fore" reef or a "back" reef system. they are diametrically opposed and should not be combined. leave out the lps.

What are your trates testing? What type skimmer do you have? What wattage is the MH?

trates down to zero again.... MH 150 watt, 14k bulb, with two 65watts actinic... remora skimmer (with a Octopus 150 Recirculating Skimmer in the garage, just don't think its worth the effort of redoing my setup)
