Lost thread of live macro

Awhile back, there was a thread going around that was about either a SW plant or a Macro Algae that people were purchasing in the Puget Sound area. I believe it was being purchased from an Asian Market or a Fresh Fish market. It was being purchased wet and alive and some were planting it in their fuges. I had every intention of remembering where it was and such, but, in my old age, have forgot!! Any one out there remember this thread?? I need help!!! Want to purchase some tomorrow before heading back across the state. Thanks

Yes there was red ogo being sold at Uwajimaya: http://www.uwajimaya.com/locations.html

They have stores in Seattle, Bellevue, and Beaverton. Hopefully they have some there when you swing by.

The place is called uwajimaya. I was looking for them a week ago since I had a refugium finally setup. I don't think they have it all the time. You may want to give them a call before you head over there. http://www.uwajimaya.com/sea/ I only checked the seattle one... they also have a branch close to Redmond MS campus.

Any comments on how this stuf does in a sump? Preferred conditions, etc?

(Also, how does it taste in a salad? Would put a whole new dimension to harvesting your macroalgae.)

Guys don't bother. Ogo is a pain in the rear. Tiny pieces that don't really grow well in a fuge. Clogs up a skimmer intake, etc. Big tangs and angels eat it, thats about all. I can give you some if you make it over some time.
