i just added a mrc ca reactor and have 20 bubbles a min co2 and 40 drips a min effulant, my effulant ph coming out of my second chamber is 7.2 . my ph with dosing kalk was always 8.2-8.3 now its down to 7.9 -8.0 its been running for 2 days also im useing a pinpoint controller. how do i get my ph up and stabilized?

the way i solved the issue was to de-gas my effluent from my reactor. i got an old glass vase and put an airstone in it. i drip the calcium reactor effluent directly into the vase and it overflows into my sump. my tank pH is 8.15 at night and 8.30 during the day and my reactor runs 24 hours a day.

others drip the effluent into their overflow and it gets mixed up and de-gas'ed that way.

i'm sure others will have ideas but the vase trick worked for me.

thanks mattt for tonite i'll try to just drip it where my skimmer flows back into my sump there's a ton of bubbles there, maybe that will help

yeah, some people drip the effluent near the intake of their skimmer. as long as it's in a turbulant area it will definitely help.
