Low pH

When I added a calcium reactor, it helped pH. Chemistry was much more stable and levels were finally high enough.

Helped it how, by keeping it from swinging? It seems counterintuitive that a reactor would raise pH.

Anyway one of the first things it says in this article is that most pH problems are measurement problems. I recalibrated all my probes and at this moment:
- Aquacontroller reads 8.07
- Pinpoint monitor reads 8.17
- Salifert pH kit reads 8.3

Also my wife has a freshwater tank that suffers from high pH. Anyway I'm going to do the cup o' water aeration test again and see what happens...
