LPS and calcium

I decided to check out your tanks and they are beautiful. I definitely couldn't argue with anything you are doing!

mfinn you have an amazing tank. I don't see much in the way of needing much calcium though. I would agree to use reef specific salts for the higher calcium levels when somone is trying to maintian calcium level with only water changes though.

There is some demand for calcium, not as much as a lps or sps dominated tank.
When I thought I needed to test this tank, I would see a drop in calcium over a 2-3 week peroid.
When I stayed on a 2 week water change schedule, I could mantain calcium levels where they needed to be for this tank.

I do use RC on my lps/sps tank.
