My Lta Has Been In The Same Position For Years Lately He Started Moving Around This Morning I Found It Sucked In The Strainer Of A Powerhead He Seems Ok Its Head Is Not In Just The Base All Intact Any Ideas On What To Do?
The anemone should heal up and be fine after removal/ Make sure the power head is turned off and as gently as possible pry it loose. Water change and or run carbon. Any livestock that got sprayed needs to be blasted very clean to prevent necrosis.
dont try to remove it. just turn the power head off and let the LTA come out on its own. trying to remove it could rip the flesh and cause a bacterial infection
Another one telling you not to remove the anemone from the strainer. Turn the PH off, leave it off, and let the anemone work itself out. If it cant or doesnt, then you've lost it, but I've seen them recover from wicked messes before.
