Lumatek 250w Ballast Problems

hi.

I noticed my MH was not on last nightand figured out that fuse had been blown, so I canged the fuse and plugged in.
Then smoke started to come out with aweful smell.

Question 1> My ballast fried?
Question 2> Where can I buy 250W fuse?

Fuses should be found at Radio Shack but the smoke and smell indicate its toast. Check your warranty. They are good about replacing if covered.

Lumatek has a 5 year warranty if i remember correctly. How old are your ballasts? If it's more than a fuse issue, you should be able to get the unit replaced.
