Mailing membership cards

Vicki do you have cards you can mail, since Bob will forward applications to you?

Also while on the topic, I felt it would be nice to include a welcome to the club letter. I thought of this with the last cards but was restricted from the computer due to my wrist surgery. This would also be a use for pamphlets if we had them printed, send with cards done through the mail as an extra incentive to come to meetings for the fun and not just buy cards for the discount.

No, I don't have membership cards for mailing to new members. I did have one from Duane for the one Bob had brought to the meeting. We were going to send the funds and applications to Duane first, then the forms to me.

I do like the idea of mailing *something* along with the cards.

so, im really feeling like i should reiterate the importance of having the mem cards (physically) available for sale in the stores.
this is super important, a no brainer...
i dont think paypal offers us anything close to instant gratification, and it really is a big deal to be able to sell the memberships right there in the stores (and walk away WITH the card). im guessing that it will close to double our annual sign up #'s if we do this right. like i said, all we have to do is make it easier for the store employees to do it, and then be johnny on the spot with contacting them every month. which i will personally undertake scince it seems like such a big deal.
i will personally work with barrier reef and figure out the best way to do this for all stores willing to sell psas mems, and simplify the club "application". so, who has the cards now, did bob give them all to us at the last meeting?

Duanne probably has most of the cards. I left them there at the frag swap with the pop. I think I have one partial pack.

I have a simplified application, will e-mail it to you.

I think I am starting to agree with you on having cards at all sponsor stores. How many are you thinking, some stores will probably use more than others. I think we ordered 200, 25 were left at barrier reef I know for sure, I think we dropped some at a few other places to.

We really should replace all applications and envelopes so that Bob doesn't have to handle the mail forwarding.

EDIT: How about we leave cards with all the sponsors who have hung up our posters? I hate to leave cards where none will be used because nobody knows to ask about the membership.

I think it should be fine to drop cards @ the stores as long as we can track them and hey get accounted for.

How about putting serial # on the cards that we drop @ the stores?
