malu nems

hi looking for a bit of help
i bought a malu about 2 months ago put him in and he looked realy good and did realy well untill about a week ago......
nothing has change water tests all still the same...... nitrate went up slightly..... is now at 2 so not realy worried about that
but hes detached and been rolling around trying to find a new spot
have been doing alot of reading and people have said they like rock people say they like sand and people say inbetween so im guessing it depends on the nem
any ideas how i can get him to settle again
read that they like deep sand neer the surface closer to lights? any ideas how to achive this?

Hey the only think i have had success with is set a spot up in the tank with good flow and place the nem on a rock turn off all the power heads and return pumps for 1-2 hours and he should take to the rock if no parameters change in my experience once they attach they will stay for a long time that said some nems just move a lot more then others but if you set it on a rock with lots of room for it to open and possibly other rocks near it to wedge its foot in youll be solid for a long time. iv done this with carpets rbt and riters

still no change today found a rock with a nice deep hole in it and put him in that at top of tank tryed him with some tiger prawn just see what happens tomorrow now on top of the rock with a bit of flow and lots of light hopefully hell cheer up now and stay put when powerhead turn back on
