Didn't make any sense to me.....

Good thing everything arrived alright

I have never had a single problem with ups and ALWAYS have had a problem with FedEx.

Wait! There was this one time when....nope, that was FedEx that screwed up then too! LOL

Im getting free shipping on my next Inland Aquatic order. I'm assuming FedEx will refund IA....

I've had nothing but good luck with FedEx. I specify pick-up at their hub and don't leave it to the goons, er excuse me drivers, to goof it up.

I have had quite a bit of exp with both UPS and Fed Ex, I prefer UPS, less screwups, but for live reef stuff I have it held at the terminal and pickup myself.
Good luck with your fish

While picking it up at the hub is a good idea, WE PAY FOR A SERVICE AND THAT IS WHAT WE SHOULD GET!!!!

What get me is UPS passes in my neighborhood around 5:30 or 6:00PM, every evening, it has been like that over ten years BUT when I get a package requiring a signature, they pass around 2 PM, I'm at work always at that time, this has been like that as long as I been living here. FedEx, if I don't drive way out of my way to the hub, same thing they never pass after work hours unless It doesn't require a signature. This my friends pisses me off LOL!

I agree, but facts is facts, and the little critters are worth the extra effort in my book. Plus less hassles, you finish on the upside IMHO.

I agree with you friend!

I just think that if we have to go pick up our little buddies at the FedEx depot that there enormous overnight shipping fee should be cut in half for our troubles....

cdeakle, I nominate you as the lead negotiator with FedEx for lower live fish shipping fees!:D

Just FYI.. FedEx rules state that they do not accept live animals for shipping unless you have a specific contract with them. That way when something goes wrong.. it's your fault because you didn't follow the rules.

Not at my work. We get a corporate discount at work and they let me ship live stuff. I asked them and they said no problem...
