i am wanting to get a 175 watt medal hallide running over my 29 gallon and am wondering what all i need and where i could get it or could i just some how propagate coral in my main tank like by using egg crates or whatever you use and also how do you mount those to the side of the tank toward the top?

How do you mount the egg crate?
I use rock and legs to make shelfs. I have also made stands out of PVC
Just start hunting around for a 175 May be a tad hard to come by as that is a wattage that just isn't used a lot. Cruse the FS forum, hunt on Ebay, or there are some good lighting sources on line.
