I think I can handle the situation with her as I know her slightly.

I've already snatched some what of a Banner from her Web site and have it on the Sponsors page; the part at the bottom of that page.

Please give me the okay to write her and try to explain 'something'.

I hate to alienate someone of her stature in the industry, but.
What has she provided us with in the past?
How doe she provide discounts to a PSAS member? Does she have a retail store?
Does she donate to raffles at all, to warrant advertising from us?

She must have been on the website earlier today and found your name. Got me on that one.

Yes, she has donated to raffles in the past and even gave a presentation for our April 2007 meeting, without any charge (I believe).

I'm not sure how she provides discounts through her website, but I do know almost all of our Sponsors carry her products at their stores.

I'm going to go ahead and reply to her in hopes no one else already has. Hopefully two votes are enough in this instance.

I was also thinking that putting her banner on the bottom of the page was a fair way to represent her as well. Ghazni and Bob responded via PM to me already. We never did really discuss much though.

Since she sells via internet I think that would be a difficult thing to accomplish. I was thinking of suggesting to her that she donate a few bottles of pods for a raffle once a year might be a fair way of feeling like we are both getting something out of this relationship.
I think it would be unfair of her to expect lifetime advertising for a one time donation regardless of what it was in the past.

Maybe my thinking is out of line though.

Reef Nutrition is her competitor. I did not read the email. I am assuming it was not good. The last presentation she gave She critiqued Randy and I and stated that the turn out was not very good. That was a presentation where communication with BCC was not very good. That is why I asked for a receipt from BCC to make things smooth. All we can say is we tried. But you do not give a negative response at a presentation. It went over like a brick in glass houses.

Why has my banner been removed from the sponsor's page?

I have donated to the society for years ,and was represented previously.

The club has always been rather unresponsive and rude towards me, and despite that, I honor the club discount and have provided many of the club members with discounted products over the years.

I would appreciate having my banner placed back up there, since I have paid my dues through donations and club support despite the lack of support in return.

The least you could do is honor the commitment I have made by keeping my banner active and up to date.

I myself do not want to reply. But I would keep her banner up to show we care and listened. Its hard to make her happy sometimes. She has been good by doing a presentation. I am thinking the Reef Nutrition thing has her fired up as well. I could be wrong. I would highly recommend letting her cool off and not replying to her message. My experience has been that it will fuel her more.

To the best of my knowledge, she donates whenever she's asked. I just remember that she also put on a demonstration at the Shark Reef meeting in 2006.

In the past two years, she's been our Speaker twice for free plus has donated to raffles. I also recall that when she came to meetings, she would offer the 10% discount to PSAS.

That's about all I remember.

I really don't think we should alienate her.
I haven't had any response to my PM yet.

I did replace her banner on our website and wrote her a very nice email, with our apologies. She hasn't replied, but things should be okay.
