That’s too funny… I just ordered two 250 20K’s from these guys…
First, I had to drop an email to them two weeks after I bought the bulbs and hadn’t received either the bulbs or an email saying where they where. To the store’s credit; they admitted that they simply didn’t ship the bulbs out and would I like a full refund or would I like for them to ship the bulbs ASAP? I choose the latter option. The bulbs arrived a week later in soft packaging, but in perfect shape.
As for the spectrum, my last set of bulbs where Ushio 10K’s so I can’t really compare the new ones against the old ones; but when I compare these bulbs to other’s who are running 20K’s over their reef tanks, these seem bluer. Noting of course that this is what I perceive with my Mark 1 calibrated eyeball on three different tanks in three different locations. With that being said, I have noticed no difference in my corals, nor have I had any algae blooms with them after two weeks.
So far I’m pretty happy too…
