Hey all,

I've been watching my metallic green mushrooms the last few days and they don't appaer happy and healthy to me. Not an expert at all, so fgiured I'd ask some opinions. The mushrooms stay fairly small, sometimes almost closed most of the day. Occasionally I'll see a few opened up fully. Is all of this normal at all. What should they be doing...

They are currently under 260 watts PC lighting about halfway up in a 75g tank. Water conditons are all fine, thought still raising calcium.

thanks,

Justin

Are they in a high flow area? If they are they will remain small and detach from the rock to find a lower flow area.

I agree a lower flow spot would be better. Also I would move them to a lower light area and see if they expand larger. Mushrooms can take very low light conditions and will expand tremendously.

HTH,
Kevin
