thats a nice blue... how old are those bulbs?

i believe that's a 10 month old bulb that picture was taken about 2 months ago i believe and the color still looks the same .... i just need to replace it by the end of this month .

Or do you think the K changes slightly with wattage?

i'm not the expert but i do think it changes with wattage .

I have read and heard that there is a difference on output between using electronic and magnetic.
I will see if I can get my hands on a magnetic ballast and see if that changes anything.
I just want to get to the bottom of this so people dont "see" one thing and get another.
Adam wants a little bit of blue and he wont get it with hamiltons and IC ballasts. WITH 330W of actinic! My tank bugs the crap out of me. Can you tell?
