MH Comparison

I have 2-150w double ended MH bulbs to replace. I'm going with 12-14,000K to get rid of the golden ting that my current 10,000Ks give off. My question is: Has anyone done a comparison of the different brands out there? ie Coralife, CoralVue, Hamilton, Phoenix, Ushio, XM...The prices that I have found are pretty similar for each brand. Are there differences in color, life span...?

Thanks, that does help some. The articles focus on 10,000K and 20,000K lamps, not 14,000K and I was looking for some recomendations from what people have used.

I just went with the Reeflux 10K 150w DE. I'd have to say they are pretty white I dont see much yellow except on start up. I had Xm 10K's before and they are much brighter/whiter. Only had them a couple weeks.Dont know if that helps

Here's a cool link. It shows the color differences between 250w bulbs, but still may give you an idea. Just use the tabs on the bottom to change the bulb's brand
