Million Bubble !!

I have a MJ1200 (not mod) and it's blowing a million bubbles through my tank.
Great water flow but how do I keep it from blowing bubbles?

How close to the surface do you have the powerhead?

You don't by any chance have the venturi valve hooked up? It's supposed to create bubbles.
