future plans consist of adding a better circulation system. I will be putting in a oceansmotions 8 way system,and more lighting 3x250w mh.with icecap ballasts. but this will have to wait until the the first of the year.

Mark, Good Job, really nicely done!! I like the way you did the stand with the cut in 2x4s and the counter sunk screws. How do you like your life reef filtration system? My friend is seriously considering one for his 240 gal tank. If you would, can you post more pictures of it and your experince with it. I think from reading that it should be awesome. Though there is nothing like the experince of someone who has used it, to tell you how it will work. Thanks Steve

I am really not pleased with the left-hand side either but I have some more Live rock in my old tank that I'm presently cooking and then I will be adding some of it to this tank so i would like to make some changes on that side in the future.maxx said:

I love my life reef filter system if i had to do over again I would, this system came with everything you needed to set it up. hoses, clamps, Teflon tape, all sorts of thread on connectors to set it up, I didn't need to make one trip to the hardware store. jeff at life reef was a pleasure to work with spent a lot of time on the phone with me to find out what I had and what my need were. Wow is that coralline all over the bottom of the tank? You Mandarin is gorgeous and plump. I had trouble keeping Mandarins before but my Spotted now seems to be doing great. Great looking set up.
