Monti Cap

I decided to move my monti cap, and I found on the bottom of it these little tiny specs that look like poppy seeds, are these normal?

I can try, they look like the little polyps that are on the top

I would venture a guess that they are in fact polyps.

As my montipora cap's grow out some I too can see polyps on the surface and as Nikki said on the underneath side too.

Unless they wiggle in the current and you see some bleaching, then I'd say you are seeing polyps. :idea:
