placement of montis

Hi I have a 90gal tank that is 30" deep with 2 175 mh over it. How low can I place my monti caps? I have a geen one, a purple rimmed, and am recieving an orange and a red frag today.

you may need to try them to see how low you can place them and them still retain their colors. There is no set depth to say, trying them would be the only I can imagine.

Hello,
They will do nicely about 18" from the bulbs if you are running 10,000K bulbs. A few inches less if you are running higher kelvin bulbs.
