moon lighting

I don't have much in my tank yet but, I made a little movie of my moon lighting. I tried to keep the size of the video down so the quality is not the best, but here it is. Let me know what you think.

I used 6 LED lights, and a 6v cord from a cell phone charger. I will get some pics of the lights when I get home from work

Jonah That looks very nice. Are the moon lights right down the middle of your canopy?

Schottman, They are 2 spaced 6" apart then it jumps 12" then there is another 2, the light bar is only 48" and my tank is 60". I can also angle them to point in different directions. I put red ones in there aslo, but I don't like the way they look.

I have 4 LEDS of moon lighting which will go on the 2' cube tank..Should be cool.

Here is a quick video of my lightsfrom the inside, they are the black strip below the reflective part of the MH. JLehigh was the one that gave me the lights and showed me how to put them together and if he can do it anyone can.

How did you wire the Moonlights up to your 6 volt adapter?

Fijikid: Jonah wired them in a series. You could also wire them in parralel with resistors. I reccomend 2-3 volts for 4000mcd LED's. You will get a long bulb life and a bright enough effect.
