Blue Tort... Thanks Kevinpo for mine, it is doing great and soooo Blue.

I am looking for a frag of the Millipora off the cover for Julian Sprungs "Corals"

I'm looking for:

Montipora sp. with contrasting colored polyps.
Acropora horrida as shown on pg. 266 in Veron's COW.
A. rudis
A. efflorescens
Montipora hispida

Regards,
Kevin

Kev I have some A. Horrida coming in I'll send ya a shot if you want a frag then i'll send ya one. If you get it to grow nice and large I just ask you give some frags to your "SPS" friends

My short most wanted list is:
A. pectinatus-sweet stag.
A. exquisita-another sweet stag.
A. gomezi-yes, another sweet stag. Thin branching.
A. selago-not a stag.

I not real concerned about specific colors as I know within my system they will have the color they acclimate to.

Steven,
That would be awesome. I ordered one from WS but it wasn't even close to the species. It was either A. loripes or A. caroliniana.

I have a couple of SPS friends

Nope one didn't come in. but i got some strange Stag. tables, deep water about the size of my head. here is a quick shot of the 3 smaller ones in my tank at home liked them to much nice vibrant green coloring. the one on the lower left is neon green with purple tips, never seen it before in that color. Grow and frag time., VHO's just started MH are powering up, then the dang cam died.

The very pink, very fuzzy Stylo that they have in the show tank at Waves (eCorals) in Portland. Not the digitate one with short polyps that is readily available. This one has a rounded shape more like P. damicornis, with fuzzy tentacles that shimmer in the current.

really really bad shot but its the best i can do with what i got here. for some reason the home cam dosen't show color well at all well its 7 yrs old, the white area is a vary pale vibrant neon green under the 10k when the art. start up it is more noticeable. light alone and the tips are purple. any idea kev?

I can't make out enough detail in the picture of the coralites.
Check out the picture of A. loripes in my gallery and see if it looks similar.

Regards,
Kevin

I like a lot of blue and purple. Can someone show me some really purple or blue acros? Is there a really vivid blue Acro that grows fast? I am dying to see the Purple Monster and the Blue tort next to each other.
