Anybody know how to get a Derasa clam to let loose of the rock that it has it's foot attached to? I had to swap tanks due to mine cracking and was unable to put the rock back into the same place & now the clam is on it's side. Should I just leave it & see if it will straighten up. Mike

The clam should right itself and will move if it doesnt like the possition it is in. He wont fall off if he lets go, will he?

No it's just lying on it's side on the sand bed. If it let's go it just won't be connected to the rock anymore.

It should be just fine. More than likely it will detach itself and move upright and find something else to attach to.
