Well, if there was no salt in there then it will no longer be "live rock". The pure freshwater will kill a lot of it off

Sorry i ment that the rock that was in the tub had been stored for about a year or so it ALL came strait out of a sorage shed well maybe it was stored for more like 4 or 5 months it seemed like a year being out of the hobby and away from you guys though

it was all from my previuos tanks though

lol, and no the only rocks i wear cut glass and are known to be the hardest minerals on earth.
