Well we bought a house! I will be moving here in about 2 weeks or so, and I need to borrow some stuff. Anyone in the south sound area have any heaters/powerheads/small pumps/tubs/tanks that I can borrow? I should only need them for just a little while. I am going to get some additional water going on my current system this weekend and I will need to start collecting all the stuff that I will need for the big move. Any one able to help me out? I will return everythign in as good or better, and if I break I will replace :D

Hey Tom,

First congratulations on the house! Now you can do home repair!!!

I've got two 18 gallon rubbermaid containers, one small powerhead, and one small heater that you're more than welcome to use.

I'm working today until 1400, but I've got a Concert in Seattle (Date Night) that I have  to go to. You can attempt to catch me between activities. Tomorrow, I'm working from 0900 to NTC.

PM me and let me know where to meet you. (Or, I'm across the street from Fred Meyers at 67th and Bridgeport in U.P.)

I have 3 x 25gal rubbermaid type bins and a couple powerheads you can borrow. I may even have a heater. I am in wallingford just north of downtown. I am going out of town to Vancouver this weekend (leaving friday afternoon), but if you can catch me before or after, that would work fine.

Congrats on the purchase, welcome to homeowners paradise????????????
Ah, you'll love it!! Wish I could help, I got more extra stuff than you could shake a stick at.
Got any pics of the new homestead, we'd love to help with the "aquascape" :D :D :D
Good luck and take pics.

Thanks guys I will try to hook up w/ yas soon. I will try to find stuff down here before I drive up there, Thanks Mat I will keep you number handy :D

So anyway Charlie, I don't have any pix handy but I will post some later. It is a good house that just needs some cosmetic work. The current owner has been fixing it up but just ran out of money, poor guy. I am getting a Steal, and should be able to make a killing after I fix er up and it comes time to move gain fingers crossed. The best bits for me are a basement so I can put sump skimmer and chiller down there and should have a nice silent tank + 529 SF garage, oh I cant wait to upgrade from my 8x12 shed that I work in now lol.

Right on Tommy congrates on the new house. I have that big 300 gallon truck mount water tank if you want??? I think I can scrounge up some heaters and ph's to. Also let me know and I can help you with the move.

Mike

Congrats!

I have several 30 gallon rubbermaid tubs, a 50 gallon garbage can (only used for my move), and several powerheads. I suspect you'll get enough stuff from the locals down there, but just in case. Let me know if you need man power Tom.

Alright! Thanks a lot guys. I think that I am pretty much in there now. I am going to get w/ finn and borrow some trash cans and equipment and one of my other buddies down here has a empty 120 that I can get temp setup for the move so that should pretty much have me covered. And Mike I will take you up on the offer to help move and borrow that big tank for moving all the water over:D Thanks a lot people, I just need to start making some water now and figure out what day to get the tank moved in. We have to be out of where we are by the 20th so it will all be happening very soon.

congrats on the house. I dont have any extra powerheads or heaters and I am useless but congrats.

Well I am good to go now guys, I have a 120g tank that I am filling w/ new water right now and I will get it connected into my current system here in a couple days after I get it made up. I also have about 6 pumps and a couple extra heaters + We will use mikes big 300g water tank for moving all the water over, so I should be pretty good to go. Thanks for everyones help!

Congrats big t... Maybe Mike can "Just Happen to be" down here when I move  .. I am so not looking forward to moving... My tank is gonna take a long time to move I am sure LOL...Took 2 people 12hrs to break down and Move last time.. No corals or anything were in the tank... Just Water and sand.. Uhh what a PITA that was... If I was closer I would Offer my help..

Again Congrats,
James

Ok The plan right now is to try to do this on Saturday morning the 14th. Any helpers? I am going to try to get some wiring run down to the basement on the 12th which should be pretty easy and my initial plan is to take this 120 that I have down to the new house, and get it filled up w/ water that is mixing in it right now. Then we will go back to the old house and get most everythign bagged, bucketted, binned and take everything over and get it put into the 120 and make everything comfy. Then maybe go back again and tear down my tank and move it over and get it set up, then I can get the tank setup and going again. Shouldn't take too long if I can get a couple helpers :D
