mushrooms dying-help

The mushrooms that are growing on a rock is starting to shriveling up and i think they are dying. What did i do wrong and how can i correct it?

We need to know the details. Lighting, water parameters, description of your system, how long it's been running, how often you do water changes, condition of other inhabitants ect...Any detail will be helpful.
