mushrooms moving....?

Not sure if this is the proper place to post this, but here it is.

Couple weeks ago I purchased a rock with several mushrooms, plus other very small growths of different kinds. (I think to small to photograph).......my question,

Over the last several days, the mushrooms are sliding off the rock and sitting on the the CC. One small one has moved several inches now away from the original rock. The largest one slid off and onto the CC over about an hour after I got home from work. Is this normal behavior? They look healthy as far as I can tell. Water is still testing good. I have not seen anything written about this happening.
Another thing........on the same rock; I was looking at it with a magnifying glass and saw several "thread like" clear organisims streatching across the rock coming out of tiny holes in the rock. On two of them there was a small cylinder type "thing" that was part of it or moving along the length of it, I couldn't tell. Would these be Nematoda's? Rotifers? This is the only rock where I can see them. Could they be the reason my mushrooms are moving off the rock? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
Batteries just died.....will have to wait for photo, although I don't know if I can capture all the tiny growths on this rock, but I will try after batteries get charged.

This is completely normal. More than likely, they are not happy where you have decided to put them. Either the lighting is too bright or the flow is too strong. Bottom line... they will move to where they are happy.

I knew other "things moved", ie; my RTA, but had not heard about mushrooms. Just happy to know it is the norm.

Any ideas about my little "thread like" worms?

I've got those thread like tube worms (?) as well. I think they are beautiful, and a welcome addition. Never seen my seahorses or anything else avoid them etc...
