Ok so figured I would post pics this is still a work in progress, going to add a fuge above the sump people are work are going to help me make custome brackets to hold the fuge up. Still working on finishing up the loc line as you can see I have the screw in fittings installed but working on buying the loc line in small chunks since I am doing this on a budget. It has taken me almost a year just to get this far.
Return pump Mag 12
Skimmer Bubble max 250
400 watt heater
I have a 250 watt halide with a 14k bulb but havent hung it over the tank yet.
For now it is a FOWLR till I get everything finished up. I have 1 starry blenny, 2 chromis (soon to be 5 :) ) 1 blue tang and a horse shoe crab.
The system is plumbed with 2-1" drains with 4- 1/2" returns that will be spilt with loc line so there will be 8 jets. I think the next time I move I am going to install a overflow in the back to make the tank quieter. I am working on fighting with some cyrno due to some bad bulbs that were on the tank.

Man nice tank Love the round stuff..

Too bad your only piece of rock has aptaisia on it LOL :)
Looking forward to seeing more of this tank!

yea not happy about the aptaisia but will kill it after I deal with the red slime issue I still have to get the stuff you showed me when i picked up the corals. I will post more pics and it goes might be a little slow this time of year with the holidays coming up.

cyano algae or something right? Yeah I am battling that too :( But wow I love that tank itself! The canopy really makes it look like something out of a zoo ;)

nice tank i wanted the 200g one. have you simulated a power loss? with those to bottom returns will drain your hole tank.

Thats one of the first things I checked if you look closley after the pump there is a check valve so I dont flood the sump and yes I have tested it several times.

i know check valves fail i have 2 check valves on mine and everynow and then just one of them gets stuck and i have to take it out of the system and clean it.

okay thats good i check mine everyday and it still fails sometimes just giving you a fair warning
