Don- minus costs of experimentation to get things right, what would you say your total cost of the setup is w/o livestock. Just curious as to how much savings you could get from total DIY.

Tank 48Lx24Wx20D $160 I really havent done the math to see how many gallons.
Calcium reactor $40 includes pump
Skimmer $120 includes pump
Automated Top off $20
Fan controller $6
Stand $100 solid oak and 3/4 oak ply
Dswirl $30
