Ok, here are some updated pictures. I cut apart some of my corals and permanently mounted everything. I've added quite a few things over the last few days including 2 clownfish, a bangaii cardinal, two feather dusters, a staghorn crab, and two nudibranches and a media reactor.

Ya, he's pretty cool. His shell is actually alive and has to be fed. It's almost like having a crab and a coral lol. I saw him shoot across the tank today when I was feeding. he can really get up and go when he wants to.

It's a Cannon PowerShot SX130ls. It's nice for a point and shoot but I don't have many options to play with. I need to use an editing program to get rid of some of the blue. The camera over emphases the 20k look. I was actually playing with my ipads camera today and took some rather nice shots of my tank with it.

Here are some updated pictures. My Phosban reactor gave the tank a hideous brown color so I pulled the media out and put some sponges in it to filter the water. I also added a filter sock and then blew everything around with a long turkey baster and stirred everything up to get sucked into the filter. I came home today to a whole different looking tank. The water is so crystal clear it looks like everything is floating. I do minimal feeding and water changes and my lights are only on for 4 hours a day so growth is very minimal, but the plus side is everything stays beautiful with the exception of the dust from my reactor. So far nitrates are still undetectable with my API kit. I haven't done a water change since the last time I posted. I'm still waiting to purchase an RO system and the controller for my lights to really be finished with this tank. The only thing I will probably ever add to this tank would be an anemone. Other than that I feel done. The downside is I may be moving to billings soon and the prospect of tearing down the system after I just got the way I like it is terrifying. There are some updated pictures of my setup as well as my new homemade breakout box for my apex system. Also my little staghorn crab decided to put a mushroom on his back and move it across the tank which I thought was funny.

My wife has a job interview at a hospital there next week. They've narrowed it down to her and one other person through previous interviews, so there is a good chance we may move there.

I'm living in Billings now. My wife and I bought our first home about a month ago and finances are tight, but I'm hoping to dig out my nano setup and put her back together. I sold off the ai sol and other fancy electronics to buy furniture lol, but I still have my lovely tank and reliable bare essentials to get me back to running shape. My once live rock is now mostly shiny white but I also have some rotten stuff sitting in old stagnant bucket of saltwater that should hopefully jump start the break in process, and who knows what might spring back to life. Lucky me there is a pet store about a mile from my house that has some lovely corals and excellent prices. I'm sure my wife will be yelling at me soon, but I just can't stay away from this hobby very long.
