My pink PomPom pulsing Xenia is taking over my aquariium

I am not sure what to do I pull it off my live rock but it just grows back.
Any info would be appreciated. This Xenia was raised in a tank ( not mine)
. Is it as stubborn as aiptasia ?

frag it man the lfs will ussally give you credit and other reefers love local to trade it. as for removeing it just chip the top layer of the rock with a sharp knife or trade the really covered live rock pound perpound to the lfs or other reefers I see people doing that all of the time at my lfs they bring in a covered piece and walk out with a clean one and the lfs makes a profit on the covered piece.. works out for everyone.

I did what you suggested and got $40 dollars worth of stuff water and dry goods (food) and charcoal! woo hoo! I came home with all this stuff and my husband was getting ready to complain. I said " honey didn't cost me any money this time!" Even got some rubble to grow more xenia on! yaay!

mine seems to spread all over too .
i think i've heard of people using xenia for their refugiums... but not sure .

Steven11 has a xenia fuge, looks great. Helps keeps his Iodine under control:lol:
