Hey all my rose split again and now I have 4 nice rose anemone's and I have a question.
I have a 20 gallon long tank that Im going to plumb into my main tank though the sump so that will take care of the filter part,my question is lighting this tank.
Do you all think a 130watt pc over the 20 will be enough to hold these proliflic creatures? I know there are many variables but that works out to 6.5 watts per... I think its ok because on our main (75gal) we have 432watt T-5.
Any thoughts,concerns,suggestions welcome.

You have less WPG than I do in my 29 gallon biocube and a higher tank so my problem must be the nitrates!

should be more than enough, I've got the same lighting (2 x 65w pc) over a 40, my roses are thriving

Thanks for the reply... I saw your pics in the other thread  I thought it would be ok. I need to get them out of the main because the other corals are suffering.

I would have to say its your nitrates in your case, feed less and more water changes.Things change quickly in a smaller tank.
I have a 75 gal reef setup and a 40 gal breeder for a sump and I change 15 to 20 gal of water weekly. Why you ask? its beats having to supplement.

they must be "annome's on crack" or something. cause there runing a and split like its going outta style.....

i wounder why they split so much

Well my anemone's been bleaching, i've had it for over a month now and I've had trouble keeping my nitrates under 20 so now I just bought a recirculating skimmer
