my sally light foot croaked

i woke up this morning and noticed one of my sally's legs laying on a rock. he walked around for a bit then just turned over and died. sad day. anyone know what could have happened?

i dont know. he plucked off the rocks and he usually got a big chunk of frozen food. It would snatch brine shrimp up and eat em. dont know.

This was in that new tank right?
What was the am, nitrite, and nitrate levels?

yeah new tank. honestly i didnt do any tests. but i just did a water change. could it have been the strange clicking critter that popped off his leg and sent him into shock?

I saw the thread about the clicking noises,, it's possible a mantis or pistol shrimp.
But it also may be a problem with am., nitrite.
A good test kit would eliminate any concerns in that direction.
