Anyone know where I could get some of these saltwater guys? I haven't found any frozen only mysis but I think I might have some live ones in my tank. Either that or I was dreaming the other night when checking with the flashlight :p . I haven't seen any for a couple of nights. :| do they come on LR?

Yep they’re a common hitchhiker. You might not see them at every glance. They’re pretty elusive especially when there’s fish in the same tank... I guess that makes them kinda nervous.

Unless you've got something in your tank that's eating them pretty regularly, you probably have TONS of Mysid Shrimp. Well, as long as you've got a lot of live rock. If you've got a refugium, you've definitely got a lot. I've got a HOB CPR aquafuge with about 4" of live sand and filled with chaeto. At any time, I can look in there and see hundreds.

If you think your fish have totally decimated your mysis population then the only place I know of online that offers mysis shrimp is Inland Aquatics. Look under starter kits for Starter Kit, Mysis/Gammarus.
FWIW... I’ve thought my population was totally annihilated a couple of times and a month or so later I catch a glimpse of one. Believe me, their very good at hiding. :)

Thanks, bet I still have them. I have a HOB CPR with Cheato too and I know there are lots of pods in there. I feel reasured :) .
