This popped up in my tank during my move from Boise to Puyallup. Any ideas on what it is?

I'm guessing a zoa, possibly 24k. They are the size of zoas...

It looks like yellow polyp

What tripped me up was the short tentacles, that it just showed up, and the fact that my other yellow polyps look like this:

Those were babies. They will eventually get to that state.

They were light starved and dying. They will bounce back.....

For some reason they are not growing... in fact, just staying as they are. Oh well.. they look cool for now.

Give it time.. they will grow! and grow and spread! they can take over. But you have to love the vibrant yellow!

Maybe yellow polyp, mine never looked like that though.
