Nassau Bahamas Beginner

Hey, i live in Nassau Bahamas and im trying to begin this hobby. I am tryin to find out if anybody have any tank for sale because it 45% to bring in aquariums in from USA

Chrish, do you think buying a tank and canapy down here then buy filters, powerheads etc from marinedepot and have a buggy bring it in?

I use to buy pretty much everything from away. You have a lot more variety especially seeing not much is sold here. Tanks on the otherhand, if you aren't buying something like a nano then it's probably better you just buy the tank here. There's too much risk in bringing in a big tank and having it come in damaged. As for stands and canopy's, I'd either have someone build it for you or build it yourself if you can. Shipping on some of those things would be rediculous and then you still have the chance of it coming in damaged. If you need anything special ordered I'd go down to Modernistic and talk to my buddy Anthony. He'll sort you out.

the only way i'd order a tank is if i knew a guy that could bring it back for me
(safely) or if it was a small acrylic one. Definitely you should order all of the suplies from Big Al's or Marine depot. Prices are just too expensive down here + barely anything to choose from. I wouldn't worry about the stand if it is that one you e-mailed me previously
(it is relatively small) Also, only order supplies that you know people have used and give the OK for
