I have had my Reef Octopus NW200 skimmer for about 8 months and now when I turn off the pump and turn it back on it just clicks around and after a few hours it will start working again. Any suggestions for a replacement pump or where to get one?

The pump I got has no metal centering thing for the needle inside. If that makes sense.
That's why mine bumps and slaps around and quits working.
How many gph is it??! Maybe just get a replacement needle.
That's what I'm needing

Can we assume you have soaked/cleaned and run it in vinegar to make sure all the calcium build up is gone?

did you take the pump apart to clean it? it could have a piece of something that is keeping the impeller magnet from positioning correctly or one of the spacers may have come out and you had not noticed it to put it back. I think if the magnets don't line up right, it will do what your describing.
