I just assembled my aquarium, got everything runnin. refugium below with protein skimmer, CA reactor, submersable rio 1700 pump.
separate from that, old lifegard (now pentair) mechancial and chemical unit, chiller. Just bought a quiet one high head 4000 pump. The pump is freaking noisy!!!
Anybody have any suggestions on what to replace the quiet one 4000HH pump with that will move water thru both lifegard canisters and a chlller?
Need one that can handle the high head, is external, and quiet.
50 gallon corner tank, 18 gal refugium.
