need help part 2( moron cycle)

In part one i thought i had a low p.h. and was freaking out. after my post here and some good advise from all and also Lou Dell iwent out and got some pin point calibration fluids and recalibrated my controller.When i calibrated i found out that the coralife fluids i bought at my closest lfs was this. The 7.00 was actually 6.4 and the 10.00 was 9.6. The moral of the story only use a fluid with a accuracy of +or - .02 . Also in this freaking out moron cycle i splashed water on on one my m/h causing glass lens and hqi bulb to wind up in little pieces in my tank, no harm to my livestock though . On the pluse side i convinced my better half that i couldnt just replace one bulb, so now would be the time to try some 14ks. She wasnt happy but i got my bulbs just have to wait for my purple tang.

Oh year forgot this as of 7.00am today tank is at the following.

Reactor has been running less than 24 hrs this time . I think i just need to decrease my effulent drips and a little less co2 (30bubbles a min).

Kelly - glad to hear you purchased new calibration fluids and it wasn't your new controller. Is your pH running at a normal level now? Sorry about the broken bulb! I haven't had to go through that yet (knocking really hard on wood). Don't forget to let your inhabitants adjust to the new lighting.

EDIT: We posted at the same time. Glad to see a normal pH.

Thans for all you help on this and other ques. ive had. I think this was just someones way of showing me i dont know as much as i think i do! Just like at work when i think i know it all something comes up and i get put in my place , god does have a sense of humor.

This hobby in general has a way of making an idiot out of a totally sane person!!!! Don't worry, it won't be the last time either, happens to me just about every day.
