i am setting up a new 110g glass tank with refugium. is it smarter to have to drains (that is what my tank is drilled for) or should i have one drain, one return and use the other to hide my wires going to my canopy???

Welcome to Reef Frontiers!!! Hope you enjoy the site!

Are these in an overflow box? I would be concerned about the wires getting wet all the time, or if you needed to get to them it would be difficult. Hmmm, maybe I'm not picturing it very well. I would use both drains and both returns for water. Any thoughts on your return pump, yet?

well my tank dimensions are 60L x 24H x 18D. i have a pre filter that has a total of 3 1" holes pre drilled. i was going to use one for my drain, one for my return to the tank and one for the wires. But someone also told me that using 2 drains to your sump will stop to gurgling sound?? sorry i am new to this and i want to learn all i can. i love this hobby! also what size return pump should i use if i want to do mainly a reef with a few fish? i have a wave maker with 4 power heads that do a total of 1200 gph i think. thanks again for your help.
