Pseudocorynactis caribbeorum
Be that as it may, if any type Pseudocornattis or majano, get rid of it.
ok, thats what i needed to know. ideas on how to do that? boiling water?
+1 on this, MGDMirage is most likely right. I have several, or used to have several, in my rockwork. They are pretty cool looking, stay about dime sized, don't seem to spread to plague proportions, and seem to like extremeley low light conditions, meaning they do not compete with your corals for space. They tend to be translucent with white or orange ball tips. Just be be safe though, I would "consider" getting rid of it. In your 10 gallon tank they might be easy to control if it did spread, in a larger tank it is usually a good idea to get rid of things early, because once they spread they are sometimes impossible to deal with without breaking down an entire tank.
Yeah, a hypo filled with boiling water into the mouth will turn it into instant soup
Here's a pic I took of one in my tank
yup, thats what it is. did you keep them in there?
I just kind of left them alone, they did not cause any problems. I have since replaced all of my live rock with new rock, so most if not all of them are out of my tank, probably still have a few in the frag tank though.
