Mucous. Did you just put the coral in the tank recently or did you feed recently. I'm sure there are other reasons, but that's the two that I've seen for a coral to do this.

well i never noticed it doing this when i fed before and i have had this sps for a while

looks like it's just liming up a bit. Perhaps something was irritating it?

no nothing really bothers this coral and maybe the picture i posted is not that clear but it really dosnt look like its sliming up, its more along the line of clear pieces of strings

So did you recently feed? Just because you've never noticed it before doesn't mean it won't do it.

Could also be a mucus worm managed to find it's way onto the skeleton.

hmmmm mucus worm now thats more along the line of what it could be so is this a bad thing or is it a good thing and what are they
