I have a 45g with a coral beauty and 2 perculas and a bicolor blenny. Fishs that will not work are
Flame Angel or any other dwarf angels
Red clowns eg tomattos and maroons
I have also tried firefish and my perculas punked them and killed them.
I have also tried longnose hawk and will pass on them.
Any suggestions?

Maybe a wrasse? Mystery wrasse is more pink than red, but a very nice fish. Sixline has red color. I believe there are other wrasses that are red or have red color, but the 2 I mentioned are the only ones I personally have experience with.

what about this one:
is a Scarlet Pin Stripe Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus evanidus)
It requires a 30 gallon or larger aquarium with a generous supply of hiding places and live rock in which to forage for food. It will sometimes act aggressively towards peaceful Wrasses, so ideally it is best to introduce this species last to the aquarium. It will search for live foods in the form of small crustaceans such as pyramidellid snails (clam parasites), commensal flatworms, and bristleworms, making this fish an ideal candidate for the reef aquarium.
