What submersible pump do you recommend? Looking for a new one. Has to be submersible as sump is glass and already in use. Tank is 90gal. Pump must be as quiet as possible. I have a mag now and it is a little to noisy for me.

thanks

Thanks, I was thinking about a quiet one pump. They are suppose to be extremely quiet, at least that is what I have heard. I read on a posting somewhere where they need to be rebuilt in about 2 years after use. Not sure if this is true or not. Haven't heard numerous complaints about the pump.

I like your tank pics and the angel.

Macronut,

Perhaps this will help???

Model 6000: Quiet One Aquarium Pump Performance Curve
120 volt, 140 Watts, 1506gph, 12.2 ft max ht

Found that information from Marine Depot.

If you really wanted PSI by chance, 12.2ft head = 5.4psi. Im pretty sure you wanted GPH however, and just as a FYI, very often the number you see with a pump, like, 1200, 800, 6000, 4000, etc is generally the LPH flow rate (-+10-15% or so to round it to an even number) of the pump with zero head. Its not quite true with every manufacturer, but its quite common.
